I’m trying to install coilovers from YSR on a 2022 Genesis G70 3.3T RWD shown here but ran into an issue. The lower bracket of the front coilover strut will not fit into the knuckle on the car. I’ve tried prying the knuckle open to give it more room but it just won’t fit. Does anyone have any tips on how to get it on?2F4367B0-76B0-4B87-A502-787F23D56C44.webp

I tried prying it open with a crowbar, nail remover, and other things I shoved in the knuckle and hammered in but still got nothing. Do you think this will work better than that? Removing and putting the front suspension back is so tedious and tough as well.

The methods you described don't sound like they "stay in place" holding the knuckle open.

Would this method work

Yeah it was tough to hold it in place but I did have a friend applying force to try and keep it open. This method you showed with a strut expander may work
