World Car Kia North is part of many World Car Kia Dealerships in San Antonio, Texas. I found the dealership through an internet search. I emailed my interest in a Stinger GT, Stinger GT1, and Stinger GT2. The internet sales person was extremely polite. She asked if I could make an appointment, which I did two days later. To show the dealership I was serious, I shared all of the information on the car I was going to trade in, an Infiniti Q50 Red Sport 400 AWD with their highest exterior paint level (a fire engine red color). I also filled out a credit inquiry to show I could qualify for the car. According to the sales rep, I have excellent credit. 
I arrive at the World Car Kia North dealership for my appointment.
1. I was told by the receptionist she does not have me down for an appointment. First red flag.
2. They finally found someone who could help me, a young man from Belarus. I asked if I could test drive the Stinger. He said I cannot test drive the vehicle until I agree on ALL of the numbers. I said I cannot agree to the numbers until I test drive the car. I said that I am leaving. Red Flag 2.
3. They had two NEW vehicles advertised. A GT with Blue exterior and Brown Nappa leather and a GT2 in Red with Black Interior. Both advertised as new. The GT was on the floor of the dealership. The salesman complained that it is a hassle to take a vehicle off the sales floor. So, I asked to test drive the Red GT2. He said that is the general's manager's executive car, and it has 4K miles on it. He would have to clean it up. Complete disconnect between internet sales and what sales person was saying. Red Flag 3.
4. Finally, I was able to test the Blue GT. I really enjoyed it and we had a downpour during the test drive. I was getting excited to buy the car -- in an irrational way.
5. We came back and started to negotiate. My car is in excellent condition. I love cars. He offered me 7K less than Carvana was offering me to sell it and even worse based on the KBB value. He said it was not negotiable. Red Flag 4
6. Sales person asked what is my credit like? I told him it is excellent, based on a recent credit check. But, I said you already did a credit check on me. He said he does not know anything about that. And, then offered me an inflated interest rate, not the financing or leasing options offered on Kia.com. Red Flag 5
7. I said this is unacceptable. You want me to sell my vehicle for a deep discount and not offer any incentives from Kia. Sales guy looks at me blankly.
Ended up leaving, feeling dirty and used. Waste of my time.
I swore off buying a Stinger and decided to stick with my Q50 RS400. Then, Ancira Kia called me for a test drive with five Stinger choices. Ancira Kia would get my business.
