Hey all,

I just picked up a 2019 Stinger GT2 in ceramic silver w/red interior. Since it was used I am trying to correct some flaws I was able to observe.

One of them is that the wireless charging pad seems to be missing a plastic and/or rubber tray insert. Does anyone know how or where I can obtain this?

Hi - reviving another old thread. @Clockwork did you ever find a place that sold this part - or best to call the dealer?

Apologies. Browser crashed and double posted.

i removed the rubber insert, disabled the shitty factory wireless charger, and added a wireless charger that actually charges and doesn't cook my phone. :)

My phone was cooked too in the begining. But after removing the ruber insert it does not get hot at all and charges like a regular wireless charger.

Hi @Landshark - what did you replace? Did you just add a wireless charger plugged into the auxiliary port using a usb plug? Any pictures?

my wife's iPhone is one she bought at the end of 2015. it barely fits the wireless charging pad, and fits better if you remove the rubber liner. but she has a 'crash case' on it and also one of those nifty pull-out finger holders. the charger does not even 'see' the phone, so, no wireless charging for her.

Looks good - I was thinking of doing the same. Withe camera projection of the iPhone 14 there is a definite air gap that means qi charging is variable.
I had issues with my 12 pro max with the original insert, since i swapped it is working as it should. :-)

don't have any pics of it installed. here is the charger when i first got it vs. the size of my Samsung S21 Ultra. i have since bought a black one and put the white one on my desk. the charger comes with a stretchy black sleeve that gets mounted with double-sided tape, so that the charger itself can be slid out and easily removed.

i removed the wireless charger rubber insert, and plugged charger into a USB adapter plugged into the 12V cig lighter. my big-ass phone with S-Pen holder case fits fine.
