Ok so here is my question/dilemma .... I purchase a set of oem 19” rims and a set of pirelli winter sottozero 3 tires 225/40r19. Had them mounted at a car shop. question is are the stinger gt2 oem wheels all the same size? Or are the rears different widths than the fronts.. I know they oem set ups are staggered tire sizes but again are the rims all the same sizes in the gt2.

OEM 19" rims are 8" wide in front and 8.5" in back. Your 225/40r19 "front" tires are going to be fine all the way around. Don't worry about it. Recent (ongoing) threads about this already describe how "tire guys" advise using the slightly narrower 225 square rather than the 255. A narrower winter tire will grip better than fatter tread.

That is a very fun pair of comparison pics, btw!:D I did my OEM 19" rims gloss black powder coat too. For my winter weather tires

Thanks Merlin. Now the problem is I switched the winters out today and did not pay attention to the widths as a put rims on. With the tires all being same size do the wider rims have to go in the back.

I'd say no to that, with winter tires. You're not going to hoon around with winter tires on. Sedate driving only, am I right? So with square tread, the only difference in putting an 8.5" on the front with an 8" would be slightly stiffer sidewall from the .5" wider rim stretching the tire slightly.

With summer tires on, staggered, and messing up the rears for the fronts (visa versa) I think that handling would go wonky (how, I couldn't say; but probably either understeer or oversteer, in one direction or the other: "don't try this at home", haha).
