I was just giving my Stinger a quick clean when I noticed white dots / marks on rubber below the windows outside the car and cannot be cleaned off. I thought this was unusual considering the car is only a week old, it almost looks like the rubber is actually white underneath the black.

It's one of those things that it's not that noticable, but I know its there.

Has anyone else noticed this with their cars?

I never noticed/looked. Give me a sec ...

No. My rubber window seals are clean black.

It almost looks as if the rubber compound that yours are made from got some contamination in it.

If you took the extreme pointy end of an Xacto blade and picked gently at one of those white specks, does it flake off, or chip out of the rubber surrounding it?

I dont think I want to use a blade to flake off. Lol!

I used my fingernail lightly and it looks like it doesn't chip or flake off.

I was suggesting to try one white blemish, pick at it very gently with the acute point of a fresh Xacto blade to see if any part of the white is easily removed. And if so, what is left behind? Is there a slight dent or pit? If so, that means the white stuff is contaminant in the rubber from the outset. If picking/scraping removes the white stuff and leaves no trace behind (no indents/pits), then the fault is not the part, but something that got on it after it was manufactured; since there is no white stuff on the paint or glass, the white stuff got on the rubber seal before installation. (If the removal of the white stuff is easy, you can just go from speck to speck until you've hit them all; but if the acute point of an Xacto doesn't readily scrap off white stuff, then of course, lay off that approach; and I have no follow up suggestions at the moment.:p)

I can suggest doing this because I have excellent up close vision and very steady hands; and I even use a loupe to magnify up close tasks. This investigative approach would not work if fine motor skills are not your gift, and you cannot clearly observe the results in sharp, up close detail.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Microfiber cloth with some isopropyl alcohol took them off mine. Don’t forget to put a rubber protectant on afterwards

I've seen this before on my rubber molding around the windows. I think I've correlated it to instances when I mixed a little too much soap into the wash. I'm guessing that it's just naturally settling into small pores in the rubber and drying, making it white. They seem to go away over time and as I rewash with the right ratio of soap:water.

I would be very hesitant to use a cleaner wax on rubber trim. Waxes will typically stain black rubber trim. Use a rubber trim cleaner or alcohol then use a protectant like 303.
