So, I was looking at my window and there are like 5 stickers on it -- kia awards, sirius xm, roadside assist, securitu system warning, something else with bunch of junk. on the passenger side there is a security warning and the one with all the junk.

I am leasing my car and wonder, which one of these can I get rid of.. they are just annoying.. not in the way, just annoying...

...................all of them , its only merchandising , I made the dealer remove all of them

Cheers

I left the security sticker, and maybe the one you didn't really describe (which I don't recall either, but possibly something to do with safety and/or the glass).

Is this your first lease? Unless Kia is very strict they mainly want to make sure you are giving them back a car they can sell. I’ve returned leases with aftermarket wheels, full coil overs, completely different front ends from stock, missing badges, and a number of swapped interior parts.

They car about damage to body panels, paint, tires, glass, and miles.

This is what I left on. Probably could ditch the generic security sticker too, because the blinking red light on the dash is sufficient to warn the bad guys. Not like they're actually going to inspect stickers anyway.

I remove all the ones that annoy me, especially the massize 6" square one that crazy California requires on the driver's window. Peel off, rub the adhesive over and over with goo gone, then clean it up with glass cleaner. It's a process, but worth it.

Save a trip to wherever for the ''goo gone'' . Get some of moms, wifes',daughters nail polish remover, key ingredient! acetone.

Careful with that stuff, it will ruin anything especially plastics etc.

agree 100% keep it away from breathing too much of it as well.......
Mate, I thought you had been breathing it to recommend anyone to use acetone on their cars.....wrong, wrong, wrong......just DON’T do it.

Not ON the car, just the glass. Keep it in the rag. Work with the door open. No problem. Acetone, the real stuff, kills all tape residue on contact.

I wouldn’t go within a 100 metres of a car with the intention of using it, accidents happen & that stuff can cause irreparable damage...just my opinion.

No to Acetone! Just use a new razor blade. As long as you keep the sharp edge of the blade against the window at about 22degrees, you will not scratch the glass.

BTW, I would get rid of the clear alarm sticker.

Lol! Do you still have the tags on your mattress. Peel them all off, if you get it tinted they will anyway.

Yesterday, a friend grabbed acetone to clean some overspray off of his boat. I told him not to use it. He did, anyway. It took the sheen off of his gloss white paint. I then gave him a K&N decal to put over the dulled paint area. At least he didn't have any plastic molding to melt.

I did say nail polish remover....it isn't straight acetone!! look I didn't say drink it, just use it on glass. Where the sticker adhesive is.
