Stuck between the J&N and Berg intakes. I live in Las Vegas so here is the issue. Which one is better at keeping radiant heat from engine separate?

AFE cold air intakes paired with ram air ducts would be your best bet. They're fully enclosed with options for either dry or oiled filters.

If you worry about heat from the engine, keep the stock intakes. It will cost you nothing. You can install snorkels, to improve the flow, but be ready to clean/ replace your air filters more frequently.

That’s what I was thinking. Curious how restrictive in comparison and how beneficial intake really is. On other vehicles I’ve had I didn’t notice much difference, more audible than anything else. Thank you for reply

I've used drop in filters with the stock air boxes for a while before going to the AFE intakes. I noticed a bit of a difference but not huge, the stock box is well designed with the most restricted part being to air ducting. In my opinion, bolt ons are only worth it if you decide to tune in car (piggyback or ECU).

Stock intakes are perfectly fine. Upgrades are either for the sound, or for heavy tuning.

There are a lot of options out there @Sin city stinger

We run the Injen Intakes on our 2019 Stinger GT1.

However, the aFe is a great set of intakes, and we do have them available to order on our site below:

aFe Power - Takeda Momentum Cold Air Intake System

We also recommend pairing those with the Velossa Tech BIG MOUTH Ram Air

They are always in demand, and many times sold out everywhere, even with the manufacturer.

Let us know if you have any questions or would like to order with a discount.

I’m running aFe Power system with dry filters, no engine mods & factory air ducting, the car still runs quiet but it is definitely more responsive, the engine breaths better & under acceleration it just wants to keep on giving.
They are fully enclosed housings & will assist in reducing radiant heat from the engine bay, they are also well constructed & look good.

If you end up running the Afe intakes I recommend getting the pre-filter covers too. It pays back dividends when cleaning.
