Where to buy OEM "Floor carpet assembly"???

Due to a leak issue, the carpet was soaked with rainwater for potentially months without it being detected. I spent 4 days trying to dry it out, but it still has a mildew smell. I want to replace the original carpet. Does anyone know where I can buy a new one? I see used ones on eBay, but can't seem to find reseller online for new. Would I be able to buy it directly from a Kia dealer?

After half an hour of googling, I did find some options. There are many online OEM kia places that don't have all the parts. I did find some Dealerships that have online parts searches. After numerous attempts I at least tracked down the general part number. However, there are 5 unique options that all look the same for the basic Stinger part 84260. The all say black. I cannot tell any other difference. Any ideas?

There will be slight, dedicated differences for the AWD and RWD. I think the driveshaft tunnel varies in dimensions. That could explain two of the offerings being different part numbers. But four options, why? My first research source would be a dealership parts department. I experimented doing an online search with dismal returned results. Pretty much all that comes up for me are floor mat options, not base carpet.

Before you spend $430, have you tried a good carpet cleaner, sprinkling baking soda and letting it sit overnight before vacuuming it out, and cleaning with vinegar overnight?

Vinegar is a weak acid that in theory it could lighten your carpet, but it's fantastic at removing smells and pretty mild compared to other cleaners, so if the other stuff doesn't work, try dampening the underside as your last ditch effort.

Ah yeah those part numbers seem to be the floor pan assemblies rather than the carpets themselves...

When cars are in production you tend to be able to buy all the trims for a while but once they are out of production the trims become obsolete very quickly. Kia Korea probably ordered 500 sets a week from the OEM to fit to Stingers on the production line then go to zero when the model finishes. I doubt any dealers would stock them as they are dead money. Do you stock 5 or 500 or none?

Probably your best bet is to go to a Car Wrecker as we call them and see if you can pick up a complete set or go to a motor trimmer and see if they will build you a custom set........

you can probably go a long way in fixing the old ones though. There are professional mobs around doing car restorations that seem to fix all these things....

Thanks for all of the responses. I am going to call a local dealership parts department to see if they can sort it out. A used one is an option. I already tried to clean and dry mine, but even after 3 days it has been hard to get it perfectly dry. It felt dry, but after being in the car for a day or so it still feels slightly damp and smells. There is about 2-3" of foam on the underside, it is really hard to get it completely dry and mildew free.

work with your parts guy and see if he'll discount it. shipping on these will be a bear and probably negate any discount you'd find online, so local is your best bet.

Good news and bad news. Good news is that a local Kia dealership was able to get me the exact part number based on my VIN, which is 84260J5570WK. The bad news is that the carpet part number has been canceled and they can no longer order it. I checked with a large online Kia dealer, and they basically said the same thing. Looks like it is ebay, junk yard, or somehow refurb the one I have.

It felt dry, but after being in the car for a day or so it still feels slightly damp and smells. There is about 2-3" of foam on the underside, it is really hard to get it completely dry and mildew free.

You could try soaking the foam with vinegar, then putting it on a folded towel and standing/walking on it to squeeze out as much of the excess as possible. Then let it sit in the sun or propped up with a fan pointed at it to dry as much as possible (with the remaining vinegar neutralizing/killing mildew instead of hosting it).
