After seeing the Car and Driver post I got to thinking, where does the Stinger rank for you among all the cars that you've owned? I'm thinking more from a fun to drive standpoint. If it's not the most fun car you've owned what car was and why? I can easily say it's the most fun and exciting car I've ever owned, but at the same time the most powerful car I've ever had was a 280hp Acura TL, and the best handling car probably a modified Honda CRX Si.

:P Lightyears ahead of everything I've owned or driven. My list of vehicles is family oriented, both style and cost. The Stinger is such a departure that sometimes I have to pinch myself.

this is by far the best and fastest probably even sportiest car I've ever owned.

startet with a Mazda 323 (~80hp max) -> Civic EM2 US (120hp) -> Civic 2016 EU (100hp)

but I've driven may other/better cars than the ones I've owned. to Name a few: Audi SQ5 2016 (333hp,V8), BMW E46 323i(170hp), MB E350 W212(272hp), Seat Ateca (170hp) , BMW 118 (143HP) KIA Proceed GT 2019 (205HP) ...

Honestly this car is everything I ever wanted. It's Fast, luxuious, damn nice looking, has enough space, good gas mileage ....
at this current Point, 8 month later, I would not pick a different car!

By far, the best performing car I've ever owned. I must say, I've owned more trucks than cars though. Closest in performance would've been my '91 Thunderbird SC (3.6L V6 w/supercharger). I believe it was Motor Trends Car of the year when it debuted in '89.

I've owned a BMW, Audi, Porsche, Honda, Mazda and Chevy. For fit and finish, The Stinger is in line or exceeds all of them. Same with power. And handling, save for the Porsche, one of the best. Comfy, sporty, refined and attractive. Don't we all want that in our lives? Stinger is a hands-down winner.

Your very first forum post, and de facto introduction. And you get a "winner" rating from me! I love it when Stinger enthusiasts with lots of prior car experience say things that make it sound like I got lucky on my first new car.

3rd, my 88 mustang takes the lead(only because it was my first car), K900 takes 2nd.

This car 1st by a country mile & daylight between the rest. Simply put “Best car I’ve ever owned” at this point in my life.

It is best car I ever owned

But I enjoyed my small hatch the most, it was a toyota liva in India. Since I was 21, never followed any rules there except traffic lights, it was small car, had manual 5 speed transmission and I use to hang out all the time with friends.

Yep, ditto from me too.
Its me all over, fast and good lookin! Lol

My 1966 Corvette convertible (427) was my previous favorite car (of about 40). The Stinger is faster, quicker, handles better, lots of new technology, will seat 4 1/2 or maybe 5 people, has a much better warranty, better gas mileage, better brakes. The Stinger doesn't sound quite as good, isn't a convertible, some of the software seems to be a little wonky (which certainly wasn't a problem on the Vette) - but is a far better car in every way so far.

Maybe taken as a whole, could be best. A few of the former ones are, I think, tied for fun, etc. For various reasons. But all around? Yea.

I am fortunate to say I’m driving the car I most want(ed) to own. Second in line for ownership - was my Infinity G35 6MT. It was a ripper - but the Stinger is that - and much more. On the been in and/or driven side, can say the coolest were an Audi R8 (6 laps at exotics racing) and a 25th Anniversary Edition Countach (passenger). Both were “exotic” rides/experiences - but don’t hit me in the “wish I could” place. I honestly am excited and proud every time I’m out and about in the Stinger. Lucky is the day. Enjoy your rides ladies and gents. db

Out of my 10 cars:

Looks-2nd
Power/speed-1st (now that it's modded)
Handling-3rd or 4th
Audio-2nd
Comfort-9th
Quality/Reliability-4th or 5th
Overall Driving Enjoyment-6th

Overall Ranking-4th

I would say the Stinger is my best "all-in-one." Mustang was more fun, the Cobalt SS was fun to toss around being so light with good handling to boot. Most practical would have been the Sportage, but that wasn't fun. RWD was a blast by AWD totally rocks winter. This car is pretty much a notch above the middle of everything I want at a good price, so it's just the best all around.

I would say overall, this is the best all around car I've owned, and certainly the one with the nicest interior and best infotainment system. Some cars that I've owned are an Infiniti G35 coupe, a supercharged Mustang GT, VW Eos, VW TDI Sportwagen, and Mazdaspeed 3, as well as some other cars that aren't really worth mentioning.:) All of those cars were fun in their own way, but the Stinger has been good at almost everything.

This is the 1st "car" I've owned since 1988 when I had a Grad am SE, 1972 Challenger w/318 before the Pontiac... all trucks since,my last an F350 6.7L which is a nice ridding truck when loaded :) so this is the nicest and fastest car I've owned.

Yup.

I've owned 11 Mustangs (all V8's but one) but Winter driving was challenging at best.

A more direct comparison would be the Fusion Sport and Taurus SHO I owned. Both those cars were AWD and very quick, but they didn't match the sharp styling and additional oomph the Stinger GT 3.3T provides.

Drove my F350 for the 1st time in a month, was trailing my boat to the marina and almost drove over my neighbors lawn going around the corner...I think that's called under streering? LOL
