the thing so far is wrapping is way more durable than plasti dip, the same material they wrap the full car in will be researching pricing ths weekgloss back vinyl will show scratches very easily , I would thunk even more so in wheels , maybe flat or even a carbon vinyl would be better , plasti dip with a glossifier would be easier and cheaper ...............my $.02 good luck , pls post results if you test it out
I've wrapped several body parts on previous cars and even used gloss black vinyl to delete the rear reflectors on my current GT , agree its durable but when damaged its needs to be replaced , plasti dip is easy to touch up , have you considered having your wheels powder coated instead , I'm tempted to do this to knock back the silver portion of the wheels . I dont want really dark , but maybe a gun metal dark gray ..................the thing so far is wrapping is way more durable than plasti dip, the same material they wrap the full car in will be researching pricing ths week
I see there are a few how to vids on youtube , why not try doing it yourself , wrapping isnt too difficult with patience ( and lots of xtra vinyl ) you may want to consider those rim guards as well .looking into having my wheels wrapped with gloss black vinyl, any subjective comments or experience, knowledge.
