I have a 2019 Stinger GT2 AWD with 18 inch wheels.

I've got my eye on some bronze wheels. I want to stay in the 18 inch realm and don't have the desire to move up to 19 inches.

Most of the bronze wheels (8 inch or 8.5 inch width) that I have found have offsets more than the stock wheel of +34 mm. So they will look sunken in.

My favorite wheel has an offset of +40 mm. My thought would be to add a hub centric 5 mm spacer to bring it to +35 mm and keep it looking stock.

I'm having a hard time finding a hub centric 5 mm spacer with a lip. In addition, I think I would need longer lugs (especially if I do a 10 mm spacer).

I've read pros/cons on spacers and it's hard to know what the best option is (to use or not to use) but it may be my only option if I want bronze wheels.

Does anyone have any recommendations on where to find good spacers and lugs?

I got these and they’re great,
eBay 10mm spacers

but be advised the longer lugs, at least in the rear, are going to be a pain to install. I haven’t found a way yet without removing half the rear suspension to get to the back of the spindle.

Thanks! Do you know if I just do a 5 mm spacer if I'll need new lugs?

I have bought bought lug nuts here. They have tons of stuff. Westescocw.com

I have the same similar delema. Eibach has a nice spacer with longer studs on sale now under $100. I was going to buy 10 for front and 15 for rear but as said above can't get studs in rear.

I have 4- 5mm if you want them for shipping and pay pal fees, but the problem is not enough hub left wheel doesn't even touch it. Do not need longer studs I believe can get 7 to 8 rotation on nuts.

Thanks much. I'll let you know if I'm interested. The Eibach kit does look nice. I've not been able to find a video on how to change out the rear studs. But if does involve taking down suspension, I may have to see how much my mechanic would charge for it.

Thoughts on these? I think that it just doubles the failure points and you can't tell how tight the spacer is without taking the wheel off.

That was another option for me from eibach but not enough space behind stock wheel to clear studs unless you get 20mm (if not OE wheel your wheel may be different) with 15mm spacer you need 14mm of clearance on back of wheel for studs. So with 10mm spacer, I would imagine you will need 19mm.

I can confirm with 5mm spacers you do not need extended lugs. I run 5mm hubcentric spacers on my OEM wheels during winter.
No issues with the wheel not actually seated on the hub?

I can confirm, 3mm spacer with a 5mm hubcentric ring, works well too.

Maybe I am not understanding. Are you all saying that you are using 5mm spacers but does the wheel sit on the hub. Stock wheels I KNOW do not and didn't think this was recommended. Thoughts

I don't think I am going that route. The hub lip is to center the wheel.

Stock wheel?

Stock wheel?
Yes sir. a 5mm hubcentric spacer does not have a lip of it's own and the Stinger wheel hub lip is greater than 5mm (don't know the entire length because did not measure); So the OEM wheel when used with a 5mm spacer is using the wheel hub lip to be centered.

Yeah it's about 9mm. I am going to look at it again but I don't think it even touches the wheel. Pop center cap and look in.

I think I figured out, don't know why I didn't think about this sooner. I believe the OE studs come out without removing the hub. So instead of longer studs get shorter studs and spacers above so studs don't hit back of wheel or have to cut them.

I'm not so sure about that. this is the longer stud from the 10mm spacer kit, but even with the parking brake out of the way i'm not sure it'll clear.

Will the oe studs come out? If so replace with a shorter stud to bolt spacer to. The spacer then has studs for the wheel and the shorter studs holding the spacer will not bottom out on back of wheel.
