i hit a tow high at 2 miles a hour but it still cause a crack and was thinking about using an epoxy to fix it but just need to know what kind of material it is so I can get the right epoxy.

Gah! Any epoxy for plastic should do as well as such a fix is going to do. I'd be replacing the entire bumper cover. Even if you glued it successfully it'll look like hell.o_O

To do a proper crack repair, you'll need to get at the back side of the bumper cover - it should be marked with an embossed identifier for the material it is made of, so you can get the proper repair materials. Perhaps someone has theirs currently off the car and can check for you ahead of time.

It sounds like you're already aware of it, but it's important that you use the correct repair materials for the type of plastic. In addition to the correct repair material, you'll likely need both a cleaner and an adhesion promoter.
