No Dealer Markup What did you pay for 2022 Kia Stinger GT2 AWD !!

what did your monthly payment come to after everything?
Hey, sorry, I just saw your post!

My payment for the lease on that Stinger was about $785/month with nothing down and all taxes/fees rolled in (i.e. I just paid first month when I took delivery of the car). However, I immediately bought it out. Now that I'm back in the office I am planning to sell it though... just can't accept the low fuel economy on my commute, which is stop and go the whole way.

Scrolling thru the 2021 replies in this post makes me wish I'd been in a position to get a Stinger then rather than now. Finally have a dealer within a radius i'm comfortable with that will let one go at MSRP. Nothing better, and that also comes with a $899 processing fee. It's not my preferred color combo, so I've gone to 2 other dealers with all the paperwork in hand, ready to buy on the spot if they will match the price. One has a 3K market adjustment, the other a 6k adjustment. Both told me thanks but no thanks. Pay the MA.

Just went to my local dealer (in Austin), they just had GT1s RWD (I'm looking for a GT2 RWD) and took one for test drive. Was a lot of fun (coming from a Focus RS) and was happy with performance. Would like to buy one in the next 30ish days.

While on the drive, the sales person said that these are going for a lot over MSRP and that the GT1 I was in (~$45k) would be $52k. I laughed and said that wouldn't happen.

Happy to work with the guy, but not going to be squeezed like that.

I found one with the color combo I'm looking for, but it's 10hr away.
Unfortunately the car market will forever be changed ! 70% of Americans in the last two years purchased all vehicles anywhere from 3-10k over MSRP ‍♂️. I took delivery of my 2020 stinger GT AWD lease back in March 2nd 2020 right before the country shut down. My model is selling for 40-42K in mint condition. I only have 15,700k miles on it. I have a dealer right now willing to give me 35K. My payoff is 23k. I already have 12K positive equity. I tired to squeeze a couple more thou out of them but they won’t budge anymore. I really want the 22 scorpion edition but they are so limited and market adj is outrageous. So I’m trading it in for an R/T Dodge Challenger ‍♂️. I love my stinger. Especially the red interior !

Nice! I'm looking to pick up the same thing next week. Found a few dealers in ~3hr range that have them.

How you liking it? The Scorpion worth it?

I've been racking my brain over 2 options that I can find, both are GT2 RWD in Ceramic Silver, but...
1. Black interior, Scorpion
2. Red interior, non-Scorpion

I'd GREATLY prefer Scorpion + red interior, but as far as I can tell there are ZERO in the us right now.

Any thoughts how I might get the one I really want? (I've been told by one dealer Kia isn't taking Stinger orders right now...?)

Thanks!
I had several dealers say they can’t order one and several dealers say they can. I would just ask them until you find one that says yes ! Good luck

Challenger SXT's & GT's (available AWD) compare very well w/Stingers, and some would say blow them away in some regards (reliability, service, price, available options?). Then the R/T's & 'up' take performance to a whole other level...

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I got my Scorpion GT2 in October 2021. I went with the low apr option for MSRP. They originally had 18k mark up plus 3k of dealer add ons. This is in Los Angeles.
Glad I was able to get one before the stopped the scorpion edition.

Lucky one here on a 2022 GT2 AWD Scorpion Edition Ceramic Silver..small Kia dealership in West Salem, WI...$2,481 off MSRP, $3,100 lease cash, and $2,800 of unearned equity in my trade of my lease buyout of a 2018 Ford Taurus SHO. Took delivery on August 11, 2021. Lovin' the car...gets so many looky loos...not many in my area.

The trade ins were too good to pass up. I traded in my 2018 Camry that had 2 minor accidents on it and Carmax still gave me 25k for it.

Not a 2022, but I got my 2023 for MSRP back in June. Canadian model, GT Elite from West Coast Kia in Port Moody, BC. They were tough to budge on the price since it was a 2023 and it came in so quick.

Still cheaper than the equivalent trim in the US though. It was around $57,000 CAD before taxes, which translates to just under $45,000 USD.
