Hey y’all I’m pretty new to the space but I’m looking for some feedback. What’s the cheapest or easiest mod I can make to my stinger to make it faster ? It’s all stock right now and I don’t know much about this stuff, learning though !

Any feedback would help, I have a 2022 stinger gt line awd. Any suggestions are appreciated

JB4+plugs

New 2.5? I think jb4 is your best bet. Followed by meth.

I have the 2022 AWD 2.5T, as stated, the JB4 with HKS plugs is your cheapest and best option- I picked mine up used w/ BT for only $400 from another member here. Easy install too. There's not a lot of options for the 2.5T, development has been pretty slow, even the JB4 only has 3 MAPs,, whereas the 3.3TT has like 6... I think. You could go with Lozic ECU tune, and it might be arguably better, but its nearly 3x the price. Also, consider the BMS pedal tuner ($200), while it doesn't actually make your car faster, it adds fuel faster, making your car feel sportier and quicker- also a super easy install/CAL.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
A piggyback tune like the Jb4 would be the best option. It will give you the most amount of power and cost less than most other performance parts. Click HERE to view the kit on our website and feel free to reach out in a message if you have any questions.

JB4 is best bet and upgrade the spark plugs. Customer service is good and that's just as important.

I couldn't help myself, I have a problem

Which map are you running on? Is it giving enough hp to be considered for the price? I just purchased one to use with no mods other than air filter.

Several sessions of a high performance driver education course. Improve corner entry, lines, exit.

I’ve tried all the MAPs, as I have access to E85- therefore I can run MAP 3. There is a dyno run on the JB4 forum- I forget the name at the moment, but it shows about a 50hp increase running a blend of E30. While I have no evidence to disprove this claim, it feels like half that. Yes, a bit more giddyup, but it doesn’t feel like 50hp more to me. Perhaps it’s BC I have the AWD and the Stinger is some 3800lbs, but I’m also interested in the opinions of those/others with the same setup. I don’t have any regrets tho, you can spend a whole lot more than $400 (got mine used from a member here) on an exhaust/intake and not get even the 25hp bump…

PS: I think the BMS pedal tuner ($200 new) is just as good of a performance bump at half the cost- again, cheap upgrade IMO.

This thing cost me 529.00. I don't want to buy this thing and only get 25-30 hp. I bought it for my q50 and turned it into a animal from stock. Thanks for the info.

I would say a Lozic tune, or one of the others, may yield much more giddyup- albeit much higher price. I just don't think there is nearly the amount of development on the 2.5T, simply very few choices...seeing as to how the 2.5T is so much newer than the 3.3TT. Those guys have IC, and other, upgrades to pull extra ponies, not so much for us. FYI, I believe our IC is also water cooled (more efficient heat transfer), unlike the 3.3TT.

Yes...I know there's plenty of other tunes and the price isn't a issue. I was just trying to stick with JB4, because I'm under warranty and don't want my ecu tampered with. Supposedly jb4 is the only tune that won't leave traceable codes.
