Well, that is interesting fixation stuff. Rather analogous to the woman who measures her body with a tape measure and monitors her muscle/fat index. My Stinger is "fat" because it has a sunroof and AWD and I keep the spare under the hatch, also my hatch is mostly full of "stuff". And soon I am going to put the boat anchors back on. Ha hah.

How accurate are those scales? I found a performance shop that can weigh my stinger, for a fee.

I was curious about the GT2 RWD weight. I've never been able to find solid information about the RWD curb weight, always the AWD.

I've watched some video about people who've get their cars weighed on the CAT scale vs scale meant for performance applications. The CAT scales seem to be about 15 to 20 pounds off. Close enough

52.5 / 47.5 front/rear split, which is in line with the 52/48 I've seen elsewhere.

Obviously you've got some weight changes that affect the balance (spare, intercooler, exhaust) but nothing that seems like it would swing it a ton in one direction. Wonder if anyone has put a concerted effort into hitting 50:50...couple hundred pounds from the front half of the car would be a challenge.

Thanks, I would like add CF fenders to lighten up the front some but I imagine someone would need weights in the trunk to achieve 50:50

5 years ago, I took this picture on the NHRA certified scales at Wildhorse Motorsports park. For reference, my 2019 GT1 was bone stock, fully wet.

Awesome. apparently my car is 61 pounds lighter than a stock GT2 RWD. I'm surprised how close I am to the GT1 in weight.
