1. Any and all commercial posting in the community requires an authorized vendor account to do so. Commercial posting includes:
a) Using your business name as your username
b) Posting business information in your signature or avatar
c) Soliciting in personal conversations (direct messages)
d) Any and all commercial posting in discussion threads
2. Failure to sign up as an authorized vendor prior to commercial posting will result in your post being deleted and your account being blocked and/or banned until the proper credentials have been added to your account.
3. Before posting in the community as an authorized vendor please ensure to have your vendor badge. If you're having trouble with your account set up please contact me.
4. Commercial posting is limited to your vendor section. However, if a member is looking for a product or service suggestion in the community, it's acceptable to recommend it - as long as it's relevant to the conversation.
5. Authorized vendors should be respectful of the forum staff, members, and other vendors. If you have a conflict with a member, staff, or another authorized vendor please contact me right away.
6. Authorized Vendors are not permitted to engage in disagreements or disputes with other authorized vendors in the public community. If there's an issue, it must be resolved privately or I am to be contacted privately.
7. All product and/or service advertisements should include the price of the product or service and the dates the sale is running for (if applicable).
8. Authorized Vendors are not permitted to use the member classifieds for advertising or selling products. These sections are intended for members to sell items they have - not for commercial posting or competition.
9. Orders placed by customers must be shipped immediately! This is how I treat my customers and this is how you will treat your customers at this site. If you cannot ship immediately, you must inform the customer as to:
a) WHY it cannot ship immediately
b) WHEN it will be shipped
The Kia Stinger is made in South Korea and this means that in many cases - products will be shipped from outside the buyer's home country. Most customers understand this. However, it's in your best interests to inform the customer of any potentially long wait.
If the customer does not accept your estimated ship date and wants to cancel their order, you must cancel their order immediately. I have a zero tolerance policy for customer dissatisfaction. If you want to be a vendor here, you'd better be on the ball, Son. I can say this because I'm older than you. I'm older than everyone.
Let it be known that I do not remove negative reviews for authorized vendors. I am not judge, jury and executioner. If a customer posts a complaint about you - either work it out with the customer - or leave it be. I don't decide who's lying and who's telling the truth. That's what our court system is for. If you have a problem with what a customer posts about you or your company, take them to court. I will not be harassed into deleting every bad review a customer writes about business. Deal with it.
10. Group buys are permitted and should be posted in your vendor forum. Group buys may be discussed in the open forum community but only in topics that are related to the subject being discussed.
11. Please keep in mind that commercial posting is a privilege and must be kept to vendor specific areas. Authorized vendors are encouraged to start new discussions in the main areas as long as they're not commercial in nature.
It's no secret that I don't charge an arm and a leg to be an authorized vendor at this site. If you cannot make a return on such a frugal investment, it's probably best you find something better to do with your time.
If you're an authorized vendor in the community and are encountering issues with your account or experience at the Kia Stinger Owners Group - please contact me.
I don't know how administrators do things on other forums, but this is my forum - and I do things differently. Two things are going to happen to you as a vendor while wheeling and dealing here:
1) You're going to establish a good reputation (if you don't already have one)
2) You're going to have a long list of very happy customers
If you're not familiar with how I do things here, I suggest you read my pledge to the community.
