Seibon Carbon Fiber License Plate Frame

(BUY NOW)

Description:
Seibon Carbon components are carefully hand-crafted using only the finest materials.
Seibon offers superior craftsmanship with over 15 years of experience working with carbon fiber.
For a stunning finish, Seibon products are coated with a glossy clear coat that does not chip or flake.
Every component is constructed with a consistent weave pattern.
Stay away from the cheap Chinese ones found on eBay and Amazon.
Seibons production processes allow exceptional carbon/resin ratio, creating high product stiffness that also leads to extra strength.
Creating performance-oriented products for your Kia Stinger that help shed unnecessary weight without sacrificing style is our specialty.

Seibon carbon fiber frames are extremely high quality with a 2x2 twill & built-in clips to hold the bottom of the license plate frame in place.
Race after race, Seibon products have proven to be as strong as the driver's ambition to win, thus making Seibon the preferred brand among professional drivers.

THANK YOU FOR LOOKING!

What size of licence plate do these frames fit?

Are there any cf frames for the Australia licence plates?

These are designed to work on all North American vehicle license plates.

We do not have anything available for the license plates in Australia at this time.

Cool! Why did I not see this before? CF is so trendy, for a reason, of course. But I like this to cover up the bottom holes tastefully. I'm getting one. :D

(Done, now I wait: if like last time, I'll get my CF plate frame in under a week. pray.5.webp)

(See? The value of a good *bump* :D; the original barely predated my arrival here; and I didn't see *bump*/response half a year later.)

Glad to hear that the bump was helpful! :)

You will absolutely love the license plate frame.

I put mine on the first day I brought my Stinger to the store.

We have a bunch in stock so I am sure you will receive yours quickly.

Got it in less than a week (would have had it on Monday, but I didn't check the mail :p).

Awesome, happy to hear it. Looks great and love the custom UTAH plate as well.

Thank you for supporting a small business, we appreciate you as a customer and look forward to working with you again in the future.

Mine is all peely and gross now. I sent an email with photo to Seibon but they don’t care. I don’t think it lasted a full two years.

Looks like they clear coat it and then cut open the window leaving the inner edge raw and exposed to the elements. It starts peeling back slowly until it comes off like a piece of tape.

It’s been like this since last fall. Looking for an alternative to Seibon.

I’m really sorry to see this. I have to admit that I have had this installed on my own Kia for over 36 months and never had a single issue, no cracking, fading, or even yellowing.

We’ve haven’t had a customer reach out for any kind of warranty or problems with these plate frames, so I’m very surprised to see this. It most likely is an isolated incident with the production of that frame. That would be the only thing I can think of.

We can definitely get you a different brand, but Seibon is the best quality we have seen, and if you are having this type of issue with the plate in your weather conditions in your area after two years, you most likely would have the same problem with a different brand as well, unfortunately.

Like I said, the inside edge wasn’t afforded any of the clear coat and it propagated from there. Just road salt out here. I think it was more water incursion than anything. The protected area up top is holding up better. A simple QC from Seibon would fix the issue.

Either way, like you said, it might be a risky purchase for the salt belt.

If there were a manufacturer that used a UV resistant epoxy like all the other carbon parts that are all over my car it wouldn’t peel.

I gotcha, good info, and yeah most likely this is an isolated incident as we have customers in climates all over the US, and this is the 1st we've seen/heard of this happening.

Regardless, I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
