Is proud to present to the Stinger community:

H&R Sport Lowering Springs

(BUY NOW)

Description:
Lowering the vehicle’s center of gravity improves handling and creates a sleek European stance – Wunderbar!
H&R Sport Springs are cold-wound, then time-tempered and shot-peened inside and out to maximize service life, for miles of smiles!
H&R's ride development engineers noticed the potential of this new vehicle and designed H&R Sport Springs specifically for the new Kia Stinger.

The Sport Springs tighten the suspension and provide superb ride quality, which makes this car a real challenger to established European contenders.
Like all of H&R’s products, H&R
Sport Springs are 100% made in Germany and use inductively tempered spring steel for unparalleled tensile strength and resiliency, allowing the use of a smaller wire diameter for reduced unsprung weight.

Lower center of gravity
Stop quicker and corner faster
Includes (1) set of 4 lowering springs
Drop Height: Front = 1.3"/R
ear = 1.2"
Better performing progressive spring rates

How do these compare to Ark GT-F? About the same drop on AWD?

How do these compare to Ark GT-F? About the same drop on AWD?

That's a great question TurboAWD!
Many people just like you, will cross-shop these two options for the Stinger since they are very close in price and popularity. Both companies make reliable products that are engineered specifically for your vehicle but in terms of ride height drop, they do differ slightly. The Ark GT-F Lowering Springs sits a little bit higher. Ark Performance specifications show a drop of 1.15 in the front and 1 inch in the rear while the H&R springs sit a little bit lower at 1.3 inches in the front and 1.2 inches in the back. It might seem that .2 or .3 inches wold be insignificant but in fact, it does change the appearance and performance of the vehicle. This will depend on what your suspension preferences are and your road conditions.

We currently have both of these options offered at the lowest possible available (our price even beats the manufacturer's website!) especially when you include free shipping in the continental United States. Also, everyone here at the K8 Stinger Store is solely focused on making your purchase as easy and enjoyable as possible and we are available by phone during our normal business hours or you can send me an email or message any time and I would be glad to help you out.

Thanks Daniel - is there any data on the spring rates? Which is considered "sportier"?

I dont have any of that data available. I personally would go with the H&R because of the lower drop. I dont feel like an inch is significant enough because of how bad the factory wheel gap is. A lower center of gravity will always feel much sportier as well.

Question is this for the RWD or AWD?

Question is this for the RWD or AWD?

These lowering springs fit all Stinger models. Please keep in mind this is not the RWD specific springs as those are not offered to vendors here in the United States yet.
