FYI you won't be able to use the smart box if you have a JB4 since the OBD2 port cannot be split
I read this in another post and replied but the conversation had gone so far off topic from the title i doubt anyone will go in there

I have listened to a zillion exhaust clips on youtube and they all sound crap so I'm just going to buy one as i don't think the youtube clips do any of them any justice so i have opted for the xforce varex system and I was about to drop the hammer on the Xforce Varex system with the smartbox, i myself would see me using the smartbox app more than the JB4 app with it automatically adjusting the exhaust note to my geo region and to my rpm, i like the not wake the neighbors aspect of it

I'm not a car aficionado by any means (although the stinger has turned me into a monster at 55) but let me ask a question and it may be stupid but i don't mind looking stupid if it saves me cash. Once you have the JB4 set on the map of choice do you really need to have the bluetooth OBDII connected? If I'm not fussed about looking at gauges on my phone or getting logs, just want to save map 2 and set and forget.
Could i then just plug the Varex smartbox in and away i go until i want to make a change to the JB4 then just switch back to make the change? Thought i best at least check before i go purchasing the exhaust.
thanks for reading and look forward to any help.
By the way if you are in Australia and are in the market for the Xforce Varex these guys have 15% off AU$2,091.00 (US $1430) for the full setup, cheapest i've managed to find in my research Xforce Varex with Smartbox
Xforce Exhaust Options to suit Kia Stinger V6 Twin Turbo RWD
Exhaust Options:2 1/2" High Grade Stainless Steel cat back with Varex & Smart Box
plus shipping which for me was $56 to Adelaide.
