New to the Stinger (2018 GT2) community but I see I'm having the same issue with overdriving my low beams as with my 2010 BMW. The BMW's lamps were factory aimed far too low. I had my shop adjust the BMW lamp aim which I now realize I could have done myself because it's a basic halogen reflector/manual adjuster system. However with my GT2 I am really hesitant to do it on my own. My car has the LED projector dynamic bending and high beam assist function which I found really helpful on the Penn turnpike last night. However there was enough oncoming traffic that the high beam assist kept shutting off. I was on the very twisty portion just east of Pittsburgh and without the high beam assist I was really struggling to see the lane reflectors because of the sharp low beam cut-off. The other thing is I'm an automotive lighting engineer so I *should* be able to do it myself, but I understand the complexities of the leveling/swiveling system and how they are designed so I don't want to do it myself. I read a couple of posts and one person said the lamps were "loose" after adjusting them. It is entirely possible to turn the adjusting nut on top of the motors the wrong direction and have the ball at the end of the motor disengage from the coupling system in the adjuster bracket (the bracket that holds the projectors). All that being said, has anyone taken their car to the shop/dealership and asked them to raise the aim slightly?
