Hi. I've been looking for the Snow White Pearl touchup paint, but something's not quite right. What I've found on this site are touch-up pens and such. But Snow White Pearl is a tricoat paint. A tricoat process uses:

1. Base Coat or Base Color

2. Mid Coat or Mid Color

3. Clear Coat

These touch-up pens are a ubiquitous color scheme .... I can believe that you always "See something not quite right" if you're using a single color pen. White Pearl is a notoriously difficult thing to match. I also need to look into having the front end with stoneguard film -- 3M makes a high-quality product.

I tried the KIA touchup paint on mine.....its not even close to a match. its much more beige in color. They even gave my a second for free to see if it was a bad run...its just a bad match.
I bought a paint2fix kit and its damn close. i havent tried any others.

I found a seller of the tricoat: automotivetouchup.com
" 1/2 Oz. Touch Up Paint Color Matched Original OEM Quality

Price: $17.41

NEEDS TO BE CLEARCOATED.
Both a groundcoat and a midcoat of the selected container will be shipped."

I may buy it to have on hand. In the long run, it's probably better to get the film on the front end and rocker panels. I'll also look into the paint2fix product --- thanks for the tip.

The paint2fix is for minor scratches and rock chips, almost perfect. a triple coat for a rock chip or minor stuff is just crazy.
The film would be the best option IMHO

Oh, believe you me ---- fixing deep chips is no fun!!!! I ordered the paint2fix kit. THANKS AGAIN FOR THE TIP!!!!

Any experience with how much paint KIA puts on these cars? Some companies, like Ford, use so little paint you can see the primer underneath! (I know I've worked with several Ford products)

And I've asked my neighbour where he had his Tesla wrapped. He did the whole damn car! I'm interested in the front end and rocker panels. Those vents will be protected by inserting Stainless Steel-mesh. Someone had the great idea to use SS as I was thinking Aluminum. SS (painted black) is the way to go!!!

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
