After 10 years with a Holden Monaro I feel like the language of Oz is just totally normal and even have found myself using way too often still.

Hey it's your thread, and I just got the double meaning as in talking wheel nuts.
Anyway did your mate happen to tell you before you ate what's in it? From memory it's got dried sheeps blood as one of the ingredients mmm ..Not. @stingergtss and I know it as an ancient fighting weapon " Ecky thump"

Yeah, I know how they’re made. The blood is usually cooked out pretty thoroughly before being mixed with cereals and spices so you don’t get any metallic taste from the blood. You end up with a savoury, earthy tasting sausage that, to me, tasted really good. In fact, it’s been annoying the crap out of me because while I was eating it the flavour profile reminded me of something else I’ve eaten before but for the life of me I haven’t been able to remember what it was.

And I well remember the Goodies. I’ve not been able to eat a duck pie after seeing them walking down the lane way.

Mate, Monaros were the quintessential Aussie muscle car back in the 70’s and 80’s. Ford fans will disagree but that’s ok. As a kid all I wanted was a Monaro, as a teenager all I wanted was a Sandman but that’s an entirely different story.

Pardon my amazement, I never knew "wheel nuts" and "tension wrench"

To me they're "lug nuts" and "torque wrench".

Most Under Rated Comment on this thread....LOL

Sorry for bumping a dead thread, but why does the manual state a range for the lug / wheel nut tension? On every other car I've owned, there's a single value recommended by the manufacturer.
