Stock 19in staggered michelins all seasons with about 17.5k miles on them

What's the question?

Are you looking to change to winter/snow tires?
 
Heck no, those have miles on miles to go yet. By the way, it is more clear if you shoot the pics from an angle rather than dead on. But even so, I see wear bars still well below the tread.
 
Not even close. Unless you live in a cold climate with tons of snow. Those tires probably have 10000 miles still left on em and i like to do mine early.
In dry conditions those are still near new.
Cali and Az people would use those for 5 more years .

Best thing to do is get a tread gauge and measure them.
ButI'd bet those are still at least 50% depth.
All tires lose a bit of performance in adverse conditions after the first 50% but that had more to to with temperature change and rubber compounds then tread depth.
