The distributor mechanic disassembled various parts in the driver's side engine bay at the top in a tunnel between the fire wall and the windshield, isolating the electrical wiring running through the tunnel, checking for water corrosion in the contacts or connectors and put this "plug" attached to the entrance wall of the tunnel whose cables come from the fuse box, I suppose.
I did not find this TSB that gave more details.

The point is that the noise that was heard as "air being drawn through a half-open window" on the dashboard on the driver's side when driving at 80 km / hr, disappeared completely.

This is random: you're announcing a fix and an existing issue for the first time at the same time. How can you install a plug in a hole that has wires running through it? That's how your description reads to me.

does the repair paperwork include the part # and quantity for that plug? I do see two holes in the cavity that are empty, one is vertical on the side facing the outside of the car and there's another at the bottom that are both oval in shape. not sure if they are the same size.

I could not see the paperwork, I was watching the procedure thru a window from the costumer rest room (or whatever is called), so I am not able to answer your questions. The TBS number, info and the plug photo was emailed to me by the service manager upon my request.
Sorry.
My main concern was give to those who have listened that "wind sound" the cause and the solution.

well I ordered what I think is the likely plug and i'll report back when I get them. I occasionally get that noise from the a-pillar area and this would very likely explain it.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

I am glad that my information gave you a possible noise solution and I hope it be useful for another fellow forum owners too.
