My passenger side sun visor light just went out. Had the car for a week... sheesh. Anyhow, does the housing just pop out of the roof or are there some nefarious shenanigans required?

They are not bulbs, they are LED and can not be replaced - check your manual. You need to take it to a dealer.

LED's that can't be replaced? Even if it's just the whole module it should be at least plug-in...

I meant, it's not a "standard" sized bulb you can replace yourself. You could buy the part from KIA or online (if available) but why would you do that with something that is under warranty? (yeah, I hate dealing with service departments too)

Well you did give me some good advice...

I checked my manual and it turns out that the light won't come on if the sliding door is closed... Zoinks! Not only do I feel stupid now, I told my wife and she was like "your last car was like that too" [Optima]... Gee thanks.

I never use the things... and I guess it shows...

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Glad it worked out!

Was going to say the chance of LED failing is low, but there's a thing called "infant mortality" where "new" electronics can fail for various reasons, usually due to manufacturing process.

Yay, a happy ending/beginning! :D I'd much rather feel stupid than have to take my car in.
