Suggestions for more ambient lighting

Hi everyone. I've just taken delivery of a MY19 Stinger and absolutely love almost everything about it .

I love the ambient lighting and I have some suggestions for improvements perhaps in future models .

Firstly, I would have ambient lighting around the rims of the 3 circular air vents. I actually think that one is a no brainer. Secondly, I would have a curved strip on the upper door panel that follows the line of the stitching that would flow really nicely from the dash strip. And thirdly, a bit of a copy, but I would have ambient lighting around the rims of the console cup holders. To top all this off, I'd offer a few more colours.

Lighting like that would almost certainly fail tests around the potential to dazzle or distract drivers (either of the car, or those around it).

This is why most ambient lighting is done well below the eye-line and window-line.

I enjoy the ambient lighting and added led luminous cup mats. I was interested in the footwell lighting but I think too much would prove distracting and I don't want the car lit up like a disco.

Ah, to be 17 again and exploring the “performance aftermarket” aisle at AutoZone. Those extra lights add at least 5 hp amirite?

IMO keep the cheap F&F garbage out of the interior, but you do you.

Eh, it takes all kinds. my ADHD loves shiny things, and the interior of a car is no exception. I love the ambient and would not complain about having some more customizable lighting that I could set to my tastes and change when I feel like it. My wife is the same way. She's looking for things for her Sorento. I'm not shopping the junk bins at my local FLAPS for my fix, but I'd definitely order some multicolor lighting accessories online.
