3.3TT Stuttering Acceleration with Check Engine Light...

I know you're only half joking, but did you see this post from last month?
Ooooohmahgod!!!

Laugh or cry...I don't know.

Still pretty weird its eating plugs. Are you using any fuel additives or anything like that?

Nothing myself. Have only fueled with the top tier gas at whatever station I find myself at. But maybe if Shell/BP/Mobile/Thortons puts stuff in their gas....

I think you're talking about other additives above my paygrade though...

I just got the call from the dealership: 6 spark plugs and coil replaced. Can pick it up this afternoon.

Sounds like they are just trying anything, and not really addressing the issue.

I hope I'm wrong..

Me too. I've got a longish drive on Sunday where I'll be able to stress test things.

Nah. I was literally talking about cleaners and stabilizers you buy at auto zone.

Like was said above, they replaced the plugs without asking the question why the spark plugs would even need to be replaced at this point. Or why you are cracking them.

When it's cold does it feel particularly down on power?

Haha, yep... Hopefully some way to deprogram so that key no longer works. Trying to stay as positive as possible right now.
Did you ever get an answer as to what was causing the issue. I have a 2019 Stinger and it is doing the same thing.

No, but I wouldn't be a good judge of that. Can absolutely feel increase in power/responsiveness with the new spark plugs though.
Did they tell you what they gapped the plugs to?

I know that I am late to the conversation. Bought a 2018 Stinger about a month ago (24,000 miles). Last week, was having the same symptoms but come to find out, the cause was very different. Check engine light on and any depression of the throttle would cause sputtering (sorry I don't know a better word) and the smell of gasoline in the cabin. Had it towed to a local KIA dealership. Words on the report, "Fuel Pressure too high spill valve in pump." Replaced the fuel pump and covered by warranty. Otherwise a 1,200 part plus labor. Have only driven a few miles but it seems fine. Haven't hit it hard on the interstate. Will do that tomorrow.
