A friend of mine has a 2017 Jeep SRT8 and a nice long private road. My stinger is the AWD GT2 model. Both cars totally stock.

We lined them up yesterday and the Stinger absolutely crushed the Jeep. Stinger in Sport mode, Jeep in Track Mode.

Race 1: Stinger with launch control. Jeep never had a chance. Stinger got off the line with a bit of wheel spin and pulled away from the Jeep consistently up to 80 when I didn't want to keep embarrassing him.

Race 2: No launch control. Jeep got ahead of me by about a car length until boost hit. By the end of 2nd gear I was a car length ahead of him. He was blown away.

No one got a jump for either race. The jeep has a launch control mode but he was not using it; it would have helped him off the line but after that, the Stinger just pulls and pulls on it. We were both surprised, as the advertised 0-60 for the Jeep is 4.4 seconds. We are a mile high here in Denver, so I'm sure the air up here is worse for his naturally aspirated V8 and doesn't hurt the stinger as much. Jeep sounds way better, but he was pretty butt hurt about it all.

Very happy with the performance of the Kia.

Awesome! I just had a similar experience vs a 2015-'18 Charger SRT 392. It was on a roll but we both floored it around 10mph and I stayed a few feet in front of him up to 60 when I let off. He then flew passed me but wouldn't even look over because he must have been embarrassed! Our cars are even quicker than I initially thought and if we play to our advantages we can compete with some of the fastest cars available!

I’d be more interested in a race between the Jeep Cherokee Trackhawk vs Stinger. Curious how they fair on the street. Good kill though.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Was in far right lane today that ended pretty soon after the light, left of me was what looked like a mitsubishi lancer evo. I had no intention of racing but I was going to go fairly quick to try and get into the left ahead of him. He had EVERY intention of racing, or every intention of not letting me get in front of him to get in the lane.

He was creepin and creepin forward waiting for the light to go green. It turned green and I accelerated moderately to see if he was going to chill and let me go in front... nope, he gunned it

As soon as I realized he gunned it I just mashed it and it was lights out, just flew by him within seconds, I almost felt bad for him haha. But it was impressive to say the least. I know a lancer evo isnt worth comp for the stinger but the mid range is just insane when you need it.
