Boise,ID!! People are moving here in droves. All new/nice areas. Good roads for Mexico activities. I could go on and on.
I don't know if you were joking or not but I love the idea of Boise.

On a side note, I was hoping the Californians would have decided to go somewhere else. I was looking to retire there in 12 years. Housing will be through the roof there by then.

What would be the plan for this? Like an actual event with vendors or piggyback onto another event so it can be a big thing?

The plan will be to host something big - if people are willing to pay the price for something big - which means dividing the expenses between everyone. The more people we get, the less each ticket costs. The sky is the limit if people aren't going to be cheap.

As long as it isn't in the East, I'm there. I liked the idea of Boise a lot. Utah would be good too :-)

Not crazy about the idea of piggybacking with another event - but if that's what people want, that's what I'll do. My first choice, and I think most people will agree, is an ALL-Stinger event. However, if there just aren't enough owners yet to make something big out of it - we may NEED to piggyback. We'll see what kind of RSVPs we can get.

I think one of the mistakes with the first Stinger Fest was not making ticket purchases non-refundable. Too many people bailed out at the end because there was no commitment.

Let's be honest. At this very point in time, it's highly unlikely that anyone is going to get a hundred Stingers in one place for a single event. There just aren't enough owners yet. Events like SubieFest and CamaroFest are huge because the cars have been around for decades. Subaru since 1958. Camaro since 1967. Kia Stinger -2017.

But let's see what comes of this - this time around. I have a few more resources that I didn't have last year.

We should do it in SoCal this was last min meet, we had about 20 stingers.

VEGAS baby!!!
Vegas would probably be a great spot. It's a place people would have no problem going to from anywhere in the country (it's a wanted vacation wherever you may live) - and the big state of California, which is home to many, many automobile enthusiasts, would be right next door...

I was totally serious. It would be a great location. And on the Californians, two things.

1. They are coming by the hundred daily. It used to upset me, then I realized business was about to get good. Real good.

2. A lot of car events are hosted in Vegas, Chicago, and California. We have to travel there. It’s time it comes to us. I truly believe this is one of the last “American towns” if that makes sense. You can ski one day and golf the next. Be in the country and the city a half hour later.

Lebanon Kansas, smack dab in the middle of the 48 states :)

I vote for somewhere near the Nation's Capital (just NOT in the Nation's Capital).
