0-60 in 4.8 seconds and 1/4 mile in 12.79 seconds. Very impressive. This car is going to be nuts with a tune. A 12 second Kia right off the showroom floor. This is going to be THE enthusiast car for its time. Just like the Toyota Supra, Nissan 300ZX, Mazda RX7, Audi S4 and BMW 335i. All cars that weren't exactly expensive, purchased a lot and often modified.

Here's an alternate, but still positive Aussie comparison to the Holden. The reviewer gets trashed in the comments for supposed bias, but I still enjoyed the perspective. On the purely objective front, I'll draw your attention to the engine sound comparison at 4:40.

A stock 12 second Kia! Never thought I would be writing that sentence.

0-100 km/h in 4.8s, so likely around 4.6s to 60mph. The trap speed of barely under 110mph is right in line with what Motortrend got for the pre-production model. The 1/4 mile times are matching lighter AWD models (340i, C43). 0-60 times are faster for the AWD models (340i, C43). But I didn't see much wheel spin here, so not sure AWD is going to knock off more time like it does for the Germans (half a second for 340i & C43).

Maybe when the tuning starts AWD will be more useful.
