Stinger remote start?

What is the sequence to remote start my stinger GT using the factory provide. Remote fob
I've tried locking the car with the key fob and then trying the remote fob in many different sequences with 0 success, yes I chkd all involved batteries
The Fac manual I have came with the new car when I bought it is no help

There as an official procedure in the manual which I print below however, increase the time you hold the remote start button to at least six seconds, one cat dog, two cat dog etc.....

1. Be within 3 metres unobstructed from the vehicle. It will probably work further away too.
2. Push the Lock Button at the top of the remote. The bevelled button. Car Locks. (even if it is already locked do it again....)
3. Push and hold the middle button on the remote marked with a half circle and "hold" for at least SIX LONG SECONDS or until the car starts.
4. Release the button.

If you push the middle button again the engine will stop.

You can start the vehicle using the
remote start button (3) on the smart key.
To start and stop the vehicle remotely:
1. Press the door lock button (1), and
then the hazard warning lights blink
once to alert you.
2. Press the remote start button (3) for
more than 2 seconds to start engine
within 4 seconds after pressing the
door lock button (1).
3. If you want to stop the engine, press
the remote start button (3) again.
If someone without a designated smart
key rides your vehicle whilst remote
starting, the engine is automatically
stopped for security.
NOTICE
After remotely starting the engine, the
engine will turn off automatically after
10 minutes if you do not ride your vehi-
cle.
CAUTION
僅 The remote start will not work if you
exceed the operating distance limit
(about 10 m).
僅 Avoid idling the engine for prolonged
periods to obey the emission regula-
tions in your country.
僅 Laws in your country may restrict the
use of remote start.
You should check country regulations
before using this remote starting sys-
tem.
僅 The vehicle must be in P (Park) for the
remote start function to start.
僅 If the bonnet or the tailgate is opened,
you can’t start the engine remotely.

There's a red LED right next to the remote starter button on the back of the fob. This LED very briefly lights up after a few seconds of holding it. The car fires right up the instant that red light turns on.

This sequence is, of course, followed by pressing the "lock" button at the top of the fob.

You can also start the car via your phone through the Kia Access app.

This is my preferred method because I can turn on the heater, heated seats and heated steering wheel this way.

There is no distance limitation to start your car with the app

That was my preferred method of remote start the first year until they wanted a monthly fee to continue use of the app, now just have to hold the button a few seconds
