Stinger debuts with new emblem (only) in Korea. ‘Exclusive + ‘Exquisite’ + ‘Evolutionary’ = ‘Engineered by Excellence’.

hi jenna! thank you for posting these pictures! i didn't like the logo at first but it's quickly growing on me. i think i'd prefer to have this logo over the typical kia logo on other models. and i'm pretty sure i like that stinger badge on the back. i'm only just seeing this now so i think it'll grow on me even more as time goes on.

why aren't we getting these badges here in the states? is kia considering it depending on how the internet responds?

Kia is claiming it is a "cost" thing. That makes little to no sense.

I voted that I like it but it's not so much the design or idea that I like. I just prefer it over the KIA logo.

Hi @ballistic ! Great to hear that. Thanks for the input. Kia is the second largest automotive in Korea so there is no need of badge awareness in Korea so they created a new emblem for the premium market to differentiate it. We are still trying to expand our market share in the U.S. and get our name out there is our main concern in U.S. Upper managements are very well aware of the fact that badge is essentially what we need to improve on. Your inputs are valuable and will make sure every opinions are heard. baby steps! Thanks guys!

Hi Jenna. I do like this logo better. And I'm happy to see Kia is paying attention to sites like this as us customers need a way to speak with the people directly involved with the cars we buy.

P.S. I'd love to see more of that dark grey Stinger. Have any additional pictures?

I said this in another post. But there is room on this new badge's outer ring in addition to "STINGER" for something like,

BY KIA
BUILT BY KIA
KIA MOTORS
Or simply just add KIA

Not many people would be negative to that.

The new tag line works too "Excellence by Engineering" or "Engineered by Excellence".
Not sure on translation.
