Ok, so I'm looking for ideas and suggestions...

It could be me ... it could be this semi-humid Sydney environment.... but I find my steering wheel gets sticky/oily fairly quickly. Travelling south in a colder environment it was ok, no issue...

Ideas for cleaning? So far I've been using a chamois with warm water, which is ok, but not amazing....

Suggestions please?? Hoping for a cheap/easy solution rather that some specific product that is hard to locate.... Thanks!!

It's just a leather wheel right? Then any good leather wipe from Ebay/Amazon will do the trick.

Any around the house solutions out there? Or do I have to buy a product?

You got an expensive car look after it with good product, go buy Maguires leather wipes from super cheap auto and clean it. No home grown solutions as they will affect the leather sealer.
Buy some driving gloves.:)

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I went with Meguiars leather wipes per AV8R's tip, and happy with the results so far.

But the above looks like it might be more economical, so will check it out too, cheers

I recommend you pick an "all purpose cleaner" then dilute it for interior use. Most APCs can be used to clean every part of the interior, plastic, leather, and even the carpets.

Do not use anything else but a good leather cleaner else you risk wrecking the analine dressing on the leather. Use meguiars leather upholstery cleaner.

According to this, do not use an all-purpose cleaner on leather.

I have to say, I am still experimenting with the APC on leather. I may need to pick up a dedicated interior cleaner next time I see them on sale.

Sticky Steering Wheel , WTF are you doing in your brand new Stinger, let me guess, your a regular customer of Maccas or KFC's Drive Thru , and you eat while your driving? Either that or your doing something really NAUGHTY;) in that car, hence i bet the dark tint....haha, and becareful if you use lubricant, it will make a mess on the Nappa Leather, and get in the holes..haha, keep hand sanitizer or hand wipes in the car.

Ok..Ok...No need for the Forum Police, this was just a one time thing, im sorry:(...not.

Don’t wreck it with cheap watered down cleaners it’s a $400+ mistake if you do.

Haha. No not exactly. No food is allowed to be eaten in this car, kids included. It’s been 20 years since I drove thru a drive thru. Boom! Beat that!!

So it’s body oils that u can’t do much about (other than living on lettuce) that slowly buildup. Here in Syd where it’s more humid u notice it. I was in Melbourne and Tasmania recently and didn’t notice it. Being colder and lower humidity I guess

Get a pair of gloves that will help, driving ones of course!
