Hi All,

I had hoped to join this forum to sing the praises of my Stinger, but sadly not.
I realize there is quite a few threads already on this subject, but I cant seem to find a solution to my car.
It looks like it is going to be a painful life as a Stinger owner.
I bought a 2019 Stinger GT-Line 2.2 Diesel about 3 months ago and I initially loved my car until now and it just wont start.
It has been in numerous garages now who cant seem to find the problem as it why it wont start.
I have read the thread about the loose wire on the fuse board and been around and tightened all the nuts up none of them where loose, I have checked the 2 fuses in engine compartment (200 & 100 Amp)
I have 2 keys and both have new batteries.
I am obviously pressing the brake pedal when I try and start it.
My car was working fine then one day it would turn over but just wouldn't start. Nobody seems to have a clue what is wrong with it. I am just paying out more and more money to try and get it fixed.

Anybody have any other suggestions as I am going around the twist now.

Thanks again for any words of wisdom.

Cheers

I have since had another auto electrician come out and look at the car and he measured 1bar of exaust gasses when the engine was turning over, which he says points to the DPF, seems strange the dpf would be blocked already and the are no engine warning lights on.
It seems a lot of garages dont have a clue what is wrong with your car when there are no engine errors, but in this case there should be.

All seems very strange to me

Unfortunately, 99% of this forum wont have a clue how to help you, as we never got the 2.2 diesel in the states, and thats where most of us are from. Sorry!

Are you not anywhere close to a Kia dealership?

Good response. I thought that was a mistake. I didn't realize they even made that one. Good luck to the OP
