Today, I took my wife's 2017 Sorento SX to DARCARS Kia in Temple Hills. I was pretty impressed by several factors:
A) Most importantly; They were very friendly and professional from service desk to parts dept to the technicians.
B) Timeliness: They took only 2 hours to do full inspection, oil change, tire rotation, service campaign for my autonomous emergency braking system, and a 4 wheel alignment, plus topping off all fluids to specs. To me, that's just enough time to do it right, but not too much time someone was slacking.
C) Snacks and drinks: Fully stocked full of chips, diet cola, water, coffee, espresso, sweet coffee drinks. Eat and drink as much as you can handle. They didn't care.
D) They gave me a military discount for a cabin and engine air filter. $36 and some change for both!
E) They washed my car (even though it was raining) just to get the crap off of it from the road.
The ONLY two small complaints I have, they didn't do a fabulous job of vacuuming my interior (but i didn't ask for that anyways, the service advisor said they would just do it) and also there was some oil spilled around the oil filter and oil fill plug areas. I was in a hurry or else I would have asked them to clean that up. Not a big deal to me because it took a whole minute to wipe it off. I have had far worse experiences at other Kia dealerships.
Overall I would give DARCARS Kia of Temple Hills a 9 out of 10. I feel this is a trustworthy place to take your Stinger as that will be my plan. If you treat my average girl (the Sorento) well, I know you'll treat my queen (the Stinger) just as well if not better.
Remember, try going into any new dealership with your best version of you, because they will remember you and will take good care of you. Don't go in pissed off due to something out of their control and they just happen to be the first person you can take it out on. You will likely not get the best quality service. That's how life works.
