That may be true for moderate performance everyday driver, but real, high-performance race cars will set up tires and wheels a LOT differently-- with NO two wheels being the same.
In my youth (<21) I did a lot of street drag racing, had a Mopar B-Block 413 dual quad in a Golden Fury-- front and rear were NEVER the same, nor was Left & Right front. If you were to race in ovals, or a road track, wheel setup still would never be the same. Below is a typical NASCAR setup (not mine):
-- And this would be way different for each track and the weather
UPDATED Heres another one it is a setup for Charlotte. I ran a 29.28 with this setup with controller but I dont have all the upgrades yet so it could be faster but the main thing about it is that it seems kinda stable compared to the super loose default setup. It was based off DriveForFives over on ntg11setups.com on his 2011 setup. I changed some stuff in it but he still deserves some credit. Hope this helps to get a base off to make faster setup.
