OK, I went and finally drove a GT2. It was awesome. Sports mode put a smile on my face!!!

The sale person, Harrison, was very nice and polite. He knew about everything on the inside of the car. Then after the test drive, he asked if I could talk to his manager to basically rate him on how he did his job. I know a ploy. Anyway, he (I did not care enough to get his name but now I wish I did) stated that the deep blue will NOT come to the US and neither will heated back seats. He was very
adamant about it and it put me off.

So it was NOT the best way to have a customer leave.
But...the car is nice

Hi Craig. Thank you for the review. If the salesman was referring to Deep Chroma Blue - he was 100% correct. That color is not coming to the United States. Neither are heated seats. He was being honest. Now knowing this - do you still feel the same?

@Craig We are located in Muncie,IN. We recently sold our yellow stinger to a stinger forum member. If we can be of assistance please let us know. You can view our inventory on our website or on this site under our dealership Kia of Muncie. We would love to have you as a customer! thank you for considering Kia of Muncie.

It will not, but I have about 1- 1.5 years before I am able to buy one. So I am hoping that Kia changes their mind.

After reading here, it seemed like the dealers knew of nothing before they actually go the cars. So based on that is why I was put off. The manager might have been honest, but he does not know what Kia might due in the future.

Big changes in the Stinger from the econobox inventory of most dealers has taken the nerd salesmen by surprise. They are used to selling cheap cars to college kids and grocery shoppers, not auto enthusiasts. There is a lot for them to learn both about the car and their new level of customers.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

I drove through a snow storm on a Saturday to see their GT and Premium models. I was there about an hour and a half after being called and they said the GT was already sold that morning. The supposed Premium had Brembos, Michelins and a closable cover over the cup holders. The entire staff swore that all Stingers came that way. The car was really low in the front end also. After lots of investigating it turned out that the car was a Korean spec Stinger. Ricart sucks!

Some dealers are just plain dishonest to get you into the showroom. Others just don't have a clue about what they are selling.
