I have a 2018 stinger and I’m confused on having remote start or not. I’ve read online that states a red circle under the hood, indicating that there is remote start technology. Where exactly would that circle be located at?

If I don’t have the circle, what’s the best route for adding a remote start? I’ve seen the “mykeypremium” option and “Kia oem website” option.

Smart Key with Remote Start does not seem to have become available until the 2022 release according to the USA brochures I have been able to view.

Refers to remote start on fob

On a facebook page I saw this reference to a retrofit of a remote start.

""In the US the stingers (2018) do not come stock with remote start. An after market Kia add on is available and not hard to install, which should have a red sticker under the hood, left side on plastic, to indicate to mechanics that it had remote start option added. You then get another remote with a single button but can use the original remote too once paired."
If you do have the correct fob though, the CENTRE button with a semi circle and the word HOLD operates the remote start.

TO REMOTE START.....

1. Press LOCK button. Car Locks
2. Press and Hold Centre Button for more than 5 seconds until car starts.
3. Press Centre Button again to stop car.
