Hi nee to the group. I Have a g70 but I joined this group seems to be more discussion and info. So I did a muffler delete and got rid of mid resonators and the cats on secondary pipe and got a pipe welded all the way to the resonators . I got some 8inch vibrant resonator welded in about 6 inch from the rear. I love the sound except when I hit about 3k rpm the tone goes raspy and I'm not sure why. I don't know if anyone else has had this problem . I don't know if a x-pipe would make the sounds different. I honestly don't know if a x pipe would have a effect on the exhaust. Thanks for any info.

I have a similar problem. I have a stinger but took out the mid resonators and the mufflers as well. Basic straight pipe with a little more expensive 2.5 in diameter pipes. Mine is raspy around 2-2300 rpms. Planning on getting a full at back exhaust soon to help but for now just thought I would add my experience

Ya I'm not sure what to do I like mine now just the rasp is insane

My next thing is a x-pipe . Hopefully it will help with the sound

Most get done around that rpm range. Guess with your setup you trade drone for rasp. It's hard to offer advice with custom exhaust setups since there are so many different variables in play.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

I'm getting both rasp and drone lol . I need another set of resonators in the mid pipe and a x-pipe I'm hoping less rasp snd drone. Drone is pretty bad on highway. But no big deal
