Quick Jack

These are great, driveway has a slope but still works well and much safer than my jacks. This is the 5000TL from costco $1999 ($1340 US).

Does it reach both pinch welds?

No, but i just used the front pinch weld and it was fine seeing the seam goes along the entire length, it may do if you ran them width ways and not parallel I guess which is fine to do according to Quickjack. I'll check it when I get a chance.

Thanks for the info

I made a set of extensions that go in the front and rear pan out of 2 X 6, they are 16 inches long with an insert for the pan built in each one.
I covered them with rubber and they support the pinch weld over the full length.
The car was way to unstable using just the pans and rubber blocks

Nice, I may weld something up similar if need be but it seemed fine to me, I shall see how I go this weekend.

I don't want to resort to Jerry rigging when my life is at stake. If the 5000tl doesn't hit the pinch welds and it's not recommended, the 5000tlx it is then.

I just use 2 sets of rubber blocks which distribute the load and have never had any problems.

what do these rubber blocks look like?

even the tlx isnt long enough to hit both pinch welds. i believe the only option is the 6000ELX

from quick jack website

TL maximum lift point spread: 60"
TLX maximum lift point spread: 66"
ELX maximum lift point spread: 76"

i believe when i measured my stinger it was like 70 inches from center of the pinch weld to the other.

hmmm how would these work? Sorry im retarded and need a picture
I put the first rubber block at the front jack point of the pinch weld and then another just aft of it, then, two more in the rear tray of the quick jack. The rear ones don't reach the rear jack points but between all 8 blocks, the load is distributed well enough so there's no damage to the pinch welds.

I bought my 7000TL back in April 2023 from Costco for $999.97 CDN and am just getting around to setting it up and figuring how to use it. Haha

Great price!
They are a big heavy thing but they work really well. Enjoy.
