I think that’s just a mock up for QLD, our police cars here in NSW have a light bar so thin that they look like a roof rack. See attached link of Holden HSV which shows a thinner light bar.That is a pretty massive light bar - I didn't even think they made them that size anymore. Points off for aerodynamics!

Yes it is, they also do all the police decals on the side & rear only so when they are behind you or coming toward you they look like private cars with roof racks. I reckon they only chose the stinger so they can say they conducted a police sting.
OMG, I remember getting a very early WRX, we all used to wave at each other.....if I ever see another Stinger I think i'll be too surprised....and then too cool, obviously.
