First disclaimer: I have yet to see a panthera metal in person to see how dark the black chrome looks against the paint. I'm not convinced pictures do it justice.

I know appearance is obviously all personal opinion, but the panthera metal with all black trim (grill trims, vents, lower valences, spoiler if added, etc.) is the look I want. Here's the question:
  • I don't want to pull off every piece and have it painted if it looks ok, as is. Especially lower grille trim or pieces that can't easily be swapped for an aftermarket piece.
  • I'm not going to replace part of them and still have mirrors, lower grille, etc. still be the black chrome, things need to match.
  • anything add-on like spoiler, front lip, etc. What color do I get? I want it to be black and match the factory trim of the car since I can't change it all.
I'm thinking maybe black gloss for any add-on pieces and just leave the stock black chrome pieces.

Again, all opinion, I know. What's the best black combination to go with the panthera metal? Anybody have pictures of a "blacked out" panthera metal?

on my panthera metal, I like the black chrome for the most part...except the side vents which I purchased the OEM carbon fiber vents. For the front grill and side mirrors, I left those black chrome since they don't look out of place like the side vents did. However, I may still get the carbon fiber mirror caps just to match with the side vents. My stillen front lip I painted satin black.

Metal owner here too. I agree the oem black chrome looks great with this colour. Like the poster above me the only place I find it a bit excessive are the side vents but I can live with them.

Got any pics of how the side vents look in carbon fiber? No rear diffuser or spoiler for you? are either of you lowered at all? Factory wheels?

Not the best pics but you can zoom in. Lowered on eibach w/ a front splitter lip. Wheels maybe after I burn thru these stock tires

Not really any mods on my car. Mine is an AWD that currently has 18" FC01 gloss black winter wheels and tires on it.

Yes. Same color. I had one .The black chrome seemed to match pretty well.
