Hello, below is going to be a sort of a word dump but I just want to provide as much information as possible and what I know so far.
Yesterday I received the following CEL code P0461 - Fuel Level Sensor Circuit. I tried to clear it but it does not clear. I read through a few resources I was able to find and was lead to another post on this forum where the suggestions were to possibly fill up the tank as there may be some bad gas in it. My tank showed about 1/8 when I filled it up. That was just a suggestion on the post and the post does not have a resolution to it. I did DM the individual who made that post back in 2018 to see if and how his issue was resolved but have not heard back yet. Another resource I found was on reddit where the guy ended up taking his Stinger back to Kia under warranty for a fuel pump replacement. I am hoping this is not the route I need to go as I have a lot of deconstructing to do to set my engine bay back to stock if thats the case.
Something to consider is that my car is heavily modified. Its on a Sxth BEF paired with CPI and I normally drive on E50-60. I have not driven on Ethanol since November due to it being to cold in my area most days for the car to turn over reliably on E as it is a daily. One of my worries are if I have a clogged fuel filter of some sort but I do not see any reports from others running high amounts of E with a similar issue.
