Go for my first oil change, stop by local Kia and grab a filter. They enter the vin and sell me one. Go to the oiler I've used for years. He shows me the filter on the car (put on by Ford dealership before I bought car) and new filter. Definite difference in the size of the center hole and he says it's the wrong one.
Call a different dealership in another time zone cos mines closed. He says it's the right filter, the one I bought. So, who's wrong? Did Ford just shove one on or what? I'm 1 of 2 Stingers this place services...Help!

The hole in the fabric filter "opens up" when it is installed on the filter stem. So maybe that filter virginity and loss thereof is what you're observing.

My spare Kia Genuine Parts box says 26320 3LTA0. I suspect you might be OK.

Kia dealers were out-of-stock on the 3.3T oil filters for a very long time, I suspect they probably switched to or added a new manufacturer. I bought Wix in the meantime.

Since I drive 2500mi per month and change my own oil, I bought a dozen from Filter fleet.

They were way cheaper than the dealer or Amazon.

It’s toight like a tiger.

Rock auto has Wix filters in stock. Perfect fit

For my recent oil change, Kia was out of stock. Went to Genesis dealer to get one. Same filter....cost $1.00 more.

That’s funny. Where I am the filter from the Hyundai Genesis dealer is nearly half the price of the Kia dealer.
