Wondering if I get a OCC and install it will it void the warranty on my 2019 GT1 ?

Technically no, but best to remove it when going in for warranty or service at the dealer. Read below for more info.

Unless KIA proves the OCC caused the issue then you are good. For example, if the OCC overflows and your engine chugs a bunch of oil and breaks. Then no warranty coverage.

If it's something else then you are probably good.

This of course will depend on the dealer you go to for warranty as well. Some dealers are mod friendly some are not.

For people in the US I believe you have this:
The Magnuson Moss Warranty Act prohibits automobile manufacturers and dealers from voiding a vehicle's warranty because an aftermarket part or a part not made by the original manufacturer was installed on said vehicle.

Here's more information if you are interested.

If the dealer wants, they will just make up crap about it causing damage, and refusing warranty. Then your only recourse is what, a lawsuit? Arbitration? They still have not proved that the part caused damage, but you have to drag them to court over a minor repair. The lawsuit could cost more than the repair. That is what they bank on.

Might depend on what they’re doing snd if they’re cool. I went in a couple times with my parts snd they didn’t care. But this past weekend I needed a vacuum check. They weren’t able to do it because of my blow off Valves and oil catch can and just told me to remove it for the time being snd come back again another dsy
