Howdy all. Thank you for accepting me. I live in Sydney and I am looking forward to driving my new 23 model Stinger GT. It arrives in mid March. To say the wait has been tough is an understatement.

The dealership doesn't give away much info when I ask for an update as to its whereabouts other than saying it's on a boat and expected between mid to late March.

I do have a vin number so I know my car exists. My question is can we track where the ship is and when its due to arrive at all.

Looking forward to sharing photos, ideas and general knowledge about this great car.

In regards to tracking your shipment status, ive always been used to dealers providing this information if requested, maybe try and get in touch with someone at Kia Australia customer service and explain your situation, they may be able to give you an update. Thats what id do if my dealer wasnt helping.

With Ford you get to track it from when it leaves the factory all the way to the dealer. Kia could only tell me bugger all.
 
Thanks Ozstung. Both the dealer and KIA Australia customer service wouldn't/couldn't provide me with exact location of the ship. I know of a fellow stinger GT owner in Sydney who was able to obtain the ship details from his dealer and has been tracking its movements. Guess I'll just wait impatiently
