Some new shoes for my 2023 GT Line! These are staggered 19” off a 2023 Stinger GT2. I was going to buy a set of aftermarket wheels which means buying tires too. But came across these for sale at a price I couldn’t resist, $1300 for all four. They have the stock Michelin PS 4 summer tires and the best part, only 67 miles on them. Was never crazy about the stock 18” GT Line wheels, these will look much better! I know performance wise these are heavier than the 18”, but my Stinger is just my daily. Not looking to break any speed records! Lol

Just the tires alone are worth that much. Plus, stock TPMS sensors are $100/set.

They didn’t come with sensors. But found the OEM ones for around $90. Probably the original owner kept them for aftermarket wheels.

That's still a good deal.

FWIW, I sold the stock sensors with my G70 19" staggered OEMs, with the same Michelins. With the tires still on, it would have been a good bit of work to pull the sensors, and I would have needed a new set of stems to mount on the new rim. Not worth it, so I just as soon leave them on for the buyer. And get Brand new sensor fory own wheels.

Yeah, I just ordered a set of OEM sensors from Amazon for $91+tax. 4th set I've bought in 3yrs. Lol.

Wheels are on! Definitely looks much better even though they are the OEM wheels. Great not having to do any reprogramming for the TPMS. Car recognized the new ones.

Those wheels are much nicer looking than the GT-Line ones. TPMS will pick up if aftermarket too. No need to "program" anything.

I bought the actual Kia TPMS. Yes, nice not to have to program anything.

I wasn't a fan of those wheels compared to the 2018-2021 gt style but those wheels powder coated in gloss black look amazing!

Members car, not mine.

Quite a few folks powder-coat these wheels, leaving the thicker polished spokes bright to look like twin 5-spokes. That looks the best to me. Would be even better don in dark bronze, of course. :) But realistically, they look great as is, so I would run them as is. Unless the powder coating is to fix bad road rashes and faded paint, I would rather spend that money on aftermarket.

Agreed. Also I like how they pop again the Panthera Metal color. Typically I do like black wheels, have them on my Corvette. But not in this case.

Ouch on the TPMS sensors. Don
Like everything else, the "street price" OEM TPMS sensors have fluctuated a bit over the past few years. I bought my very first set back in mid 2021 for $77/set of 4. They've gone up as high as about $100/set. Now they've calmed back down a bit to around $90/set. Still though, for a Genuine OEM "install and forget" TPMS sensor, even $25/each is pretty darn reasonable.

Absolutely. Darker shades of metallic grey really needs some contrast in the wheels.

I personally am not a big fan of the murdered-out look. But I do thing everything can be aesthetically pleasing, as long as the balance and presentation are done well.

On my first Corvette which was gray originally it had similar style wheels like the ones I just put on the Stinger. Although on that car I wasn't crazy about how they looked. Ended up putting on black wheels.

Exactly what happened to my OEM GT wheels. Gloss blacking them was the most inexpensive fix for rash, which happened in a danged car wash tunnel. I chose gloss black because that is the easiest finish to touchup when you get scratched or chipped again.

Gotta agree with @Snicklefritz. That C7 is so gorgeous in any color, you could throw Tonka truck wheels on it and still look great. :D
Well on my Grand Sport the stock wheels have a major flaw which GM is refusing to do anything about. They crack! Now I live in S. Florida where the roads are generally good. But I still cracked a front and rear wheel. In fact I found out I did the Tail of the Dragon on a cracked front wheel! I knew this buying the car which is why I got the wheel & tire coverage. So far it's paid 100% for two new wheels. Every time I go over the smallest bump I let out an EEK!! LOL
