About a month into a Stinger GT
Coming out of a 2012 mustang GT/CS, six speed manual. Due to heavy clutch and Houston traffic, my old bones could not take anymore shifting.
The Stinger is one of very few automatics i've owned and first auto trans with significant power.
Stinger of course Very Much more comfortable but miss the control offered by a manual. This is lessened by the nearly ever available torque. however still getting used to the automatic's downshifts and acceleration when getting on it in city driving/traffic. Found myself too close to the bumper of the vehicle in front of me on a few occasions.
Recently, it seems to take more pedal for it to kick down in comfort mode. Is it possible the trans is one of those that supposedly adapts to the driver's habit and the vehicle thinks I want to putt around?
Not really into the paddle shifters (using them seems strange...never had 'em before).
In any event, it's definitely a new driving experience that's so far been a pleasure.
Looking forward to possible intake & exhaust, beyond that don't want to run into potential warranty issues
