Found this video on YouTuve and seen it posted elsewhere on Reddit. I don't believe it's been posted here yet. Misha Charoudin takes the Stinger through it's paces on the Nürburgring and has some pretty good things to say!

Always wondered why Kia never posted any official Nurburgring times or videos, considering how they touted having tested the stinger there during development.

I'm guessing the retail version was heavily downgraded from the dev vehicles to hit the lower price point, so the two couldn't be compared in any honest way.

This is from the hype in the promo book. The prototype Stinger did 480 laps of the Ring, at 90-95% of its fastest lap time, that's over 6,000 miles, the equivalent of 110,000 miles of normal driving. They also had grooved Brembo rotors, so, presumably none of that brake fade that Misha mentions.

Is it just me, or is he WAY too chill when (a) it's his first time in a while driving the track, and (b) it's his first time in a while driving this car?? Wow, I was impressed by his prowess...

He is so chill, and "not really a car guy", that it made me suspect that he's trash talking himself for fun. He's so chill on the Ring that I suspected he might be the Ring Ace test driver mentioned in the Stinger promo book. But I looked and his name is Dirk Schoysman, "Ringmeister extraordinaire".

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Noooo lol, take a look at his YouTube channel. He drives a ton of cars around The Ring. His channel is pretty much all Ring driving.

He said he didn't push the Stinger as hard as he could due to being unfamiliar with it (and the brakes not being built for track) so I'm sure he'd push even harder otherwise

One thing I know, this guy lives on the ring. I'm sure he could drive it with his eyes closed.

The Stinger spent a lot of time at Nürburgring during development. Not news that it can handle the track.

And it being below 10 degrees / cold, the tires weren't as grippy.
