I had a slight fender bender yesterday. I hit a BMW X3 at an angle on the right side of the front bumper. 2 small bumps on my bumper and my driver's side window cracked (I am guessing that was from the kinetic energy?). I only hit the other car at about 2-3 mph -- air bags didn't deploy and Kia app did not notify me that I was in an accident. The fitament of the piece looks a bit off b/c I probably broke some clips where the dimpling occurred and the driver's side window cracked ... so I am guessing I need the gaps to be checked. No warning lights, no fluids, and nothing showing on the Kia app. Thoughts?

Thoughts? Yes. Unless I saw it happen with my own eyes, I'd never believe that these pictures go together from the same incident. There's no way the driver's window could crack like that on the opposite side from a 3 MPH impact. Online stuff has made me very skeptical.

Hope that you get your driver's window replaced with Saint-Gobain Sekurit acoustic glass real soon. As for the bumper cover damage, only a new cover will heal your blemishes. And that will fix the fitment/alignment issue too.

Thanks for your insightful thoughts on my accident -- I will file this in the 'STFU' folder. This is an online forum where people who have Stingers ask for advice / thoughts. Why the F would I lie about something like this? All I was asking for was some advice and I get some stupid ass pandering comment like this. The glass DID crack from this accident. Does anyone else have some thoughts on my accident?

You get what you pay for which is exactly nothing. All I said was that without being there and seeing it happen as you describe I'd be unbelieving that the opposite side bump actually caused the window to crack on this side. You've got something else involved besides the bump. Probably the window was under some kind of already existing lateral stress. Impossible to say from here, only there, and knowing the history of your vehicle. Mellow out brother.
